The Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors on Nov. 17 took a procedural step on a local nuisance/health ordinance, approving the ordinance on second reading and scheduling a third consideration for Dec. 8 at 10:05 a.m.
The Chair opened the public hearing for the second reading at 10:05 a.m. and a motion was made and seconded to close the public-hearing portion; no public comments were presented on the record. The board then moved to approve the ordinance on second reading. Bob (staff) conducted a roll-call vote: Calan — yes; Gina — yes; Boss — yes. The second reading was approved.
Board members discussed scheduling for the third consideration; Michelle asked whether a public notice was required for the Dec. 8 date. The board set the third consideration for Dec. 8 at 10:05 a.m. by motion and second, and the scheduling motion passed.
