Council fast-tracks and adopts ordinance updating emergency snow routes
Summary

Later in the meeting, Councilman Jensen moved and Councilman Vaughn seconded to suspend the rules and move the ordinance to third and final reading immediately. The motion to suspend the rules passed 7–0, and the council then took a final vote on the ordinance; Ordinance 5731 was approved on final reading by a 7–0 vote.
The ordinance includes typical repeal and severability language and takes effect per the city’s usual effective-date provisions. No public comment was recorded on the ordinance at the meeting.
