At its April 28 meeting the Sharon Board of Selectmen made a series of routine appointments and approvals.
The Board voted to appoint Anne Holm to the Sharon Green Committee after the Committee requested the appointment. The motion to appoint was made by Selectman Brett, seconded by Selectman Lynn Kearcher, and carried unanimously.
The Northwest Resource Recovery Authority asked the town to appoint a representative. First Selectman Flanagan volunteered to serve as Sharon's representative and said he would seek an alternate for Board approval in the coming weeks; the Board moved to appoint him.
The Board also approved a request from the Triathlon Committee to use town roads on Aug. 8 for its annual event, as read into the record by First Selectman Flanagan. The Board reviewed tax refunds submitted by the Town Tax Collector and approved them on a motion by Mr. Brett, seconded by Ms. Kearcher. Minutes record these actions as passed unanimously; no roll-call tallies were included in the minutes.
