The Sharon Board of Finance reviewed a revised Board of Education 2026–27 budget that reflected a zero percent increase and voted on April 21 to send the budget to a public hearing. Ms. Clare moved to approve sending the BOE budget to hearing; Mrs. Robertson seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Members also reviewed the Board of Education's March 2026 cash report — the first time the BOF had that report available — and said they would request a BOE representative attend a future meeting to review the cash report and answer questions.
No changes to the proposed BOE budget were made at the meeting; the hearing process will allow public comment prior to any final action.
