The Board of Selectmen voted to adopt updated reservation forms and fee schedules for town facilities, approving an amendment to add horse rings to the youth-sports reservation form.
Chair opened presentation of the forms and credited staff, saying the packages were “incredibly complete” and thanked Vinnie and Samantha for preparing them. Board members asked how the airport property and horse rings would be allocated when multiple events are proposed for the same day; members said the decision would be made by Vinnie based on event needs and logistics.
A Committee member noted the Lions Club’s recurring Saturday parking use at the airport property and urged the town to make that expectation clear to prospective renters. The board agreed the reservation materials should state existing, recurring uses so renters understand constraints.
During discussion the board agreed to add the horse rings to the youth-sports form’s fee table. As transcribed, the board read the proposed fees as “nonprofit will be a 100, and for profit will be $2.50.” The board accepted that modification, approved the amendment, then voted to adopt the reservation forms and fees as amended.
The board approved the forms by motion and majority vote. Chair said the updated forms aim to eliminate guesswork for applicants by specifying fees for different user types and facilities.
The board did not set additional conditions beyond delegating event-approval discretion to the staff member responsible for reservations.
