The Carlisle Conservation Commission on Feb. 12 unanimously accepted a restoration plan addressing an encroachment into the 100‑foot wetland buffer at 30 Robbins Drive and approved an administrative authorization for the Community Farm School relocation at 201 Bedford Road.
The commission also voted unanimously to support a voluntary proposal from the Transfer Station Action Committee (TSAC) to discourage placing organic matter in the transfer-station trash container and to request that Zoo New England revise its Foss Farm habitat proposal after stakeholder feedback. Commissioners approved motions to continue with LSC charter revisions, to allow the Conservation Commission to issue land‑use licenses while charter work proceeds (pending Town Administrator confirmation), and to move charter draft 1 to draft 2 for stakeholder distribution. A motion not to approach Town Counsel immediately about Woodward Fields management — opting instead for direct talks between the Land Stewardship Committee (LSC) and the Carlisle Conservation Foundation (CCF) — passed with one recusal.
Bills totaling $1,674.72 (Weston & Sampson studies, O’Connor Ace Hardware, Carlisle Rubbish, and MACC conference) were approved unanimously. The commission approved minutes from Dec. 11, 2025, Jan. 8, 2026, and Jan. 27, 2026, as amended; roll-call tallies show a small number of abstentions on specific votes as recorded.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 9:30 p.m.; the commission scheduled its next meeting for Feb. 26, 2026.
