Rick Ollie posts ‘final summary of CI strategic plan,’ directs community to review input and timeline

The document, Ollie said, includes a reminder and an update of the district’s draft vision, mission and core values, a combined summary of input sessions, and individual breakdowns of community sessions (including in-person meetings at the forum room and at Crest and a Zoom session), staff sessions and student sessions. "There's a summary of all the input sessions combined, taking all the feedback from community, students, staff, and parents," he said.

Ollie explained that links within the document take readers directly to the notes and feedback for each session (for example, "session two at Crest"), allowing users to read what was discussed on topics such as facilities and finance. He also directed listeners to a section labeled "final summary" for an overall overview of the strategic-planning process and to a separate "next steps and timeline" section that outlines what the school board will do in coming weeks.

The materials, Ollie said, are intended as a community resource and will be posted on the district website under "strategic plan" and on the district's social media channels. He offered printed copies on request: "If you have questions or you would like paper copies of all this information, please reach out to the district office. We can print off any of these documents for you."

Ollie said the school board will review the information gathered from surveys and input sessions, identify emerging themes and "plan to update the goals and specific objectives as we head into the 2026-27 school year for our students, staff, and our community." He closed by thanking participants for their involvement and encouraging residents to stay engaged and informed.
