The Arnolds Park City Council on June 10 approved Resolution No. 25-2026 authorizing AIA Document G701-2017 Change Order No. 5 for the Arnolds Park Civic Complex, which reduces the project contingency sum by $8,715.76 per the recommendation of Cannon Moss Brygger & Associates (CMBA). On the same recommendation, the council approved Pay Application No. 12 to Hausmann Construction in the amount of $852,837.05.
Councilmember Richter introduced the resolution and the motion passed by unanimous roll call. The change order and pay application are recorded in the meeting minutes as recommended by CMBA. Council later approved Pay Estimate No. 3 (final) for the 2025 street improvement project — covering Circle Drive, Miriam Lane, Lot A Drive, Sunrise Road and Monument Drive — paying Blacktop Service Company $15,033.74 per the recommendation of Jacobson-Westergard & Associates.
The Park Board reported approval of planned city beach improvements and noted continued discussion of the Boater’s Access Campground; a joint public hearing on July 8, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. will focus on the campground’s future. The transcript records only the contingency reduction amount and pay-app totals; contract retainage, schedule impacts and remaining dollar values are not specified in the minutes.
