The board adopted the district‑wide safety and emergency plan and approved a memorandum of agreement with the Austining Support Staff Association (OSSA). In business matters the board authorized the renewal of the food services management contract for 2026–27, established a tax certiary reserve for 2025–26, approved intra‑fund transfers, and awarded the plumbing construction contract for the locker‑room and CTE addition as described in the agenda. Several reserve adjustments (ERS/TRS and employee benefit liability accounts) were also approved.
On curriculum and personnel matters the board accepted recommended special‑education placements and approved a slate of personnel resolutions (resignations and appointments, summer school and before/after‑school staffing, PDM substitutes and volunteer approvals). Board discussion noted that summer programming will continue without reduction but that some programs were relocated temporarily (to Roosevelt, Park and the high school gyms) because of construction work and rooftop unit replacement.
