Staff described an operational plan: the city will assign each council district a scheduled week of repairs (staff said a five-week cycle was expected), use location-based dashboards to prioritize clusters of work orders, and rely on a city point of contact to take phone reports and enter work orders for those who cannot use the web form. Councilmembers asked for flexibility to address high-need streets and to coordinate with state highways where needed.
The council also approved an estimate from Crane Tech to repair unit 493 in the electrical department (transcribed amount: approximately $8,044); staff said the repair was necessary ahead of hurricane season.
