The M‑2 zone is described as intended for lower‑impact industrial uses conducted within completely enclosed buildings to limit effects on neighboring properties.
Commissioner Randy Simpkins moved to adopt the resolution; Commissioner B. Kyle Sanders seconded the motion, which passed by a unanimous 'aye' voice vote. No members of the public spoke for or against the amendment during the public hearing portion of the agenda.
The resolution does not list parcel‑level locations in the meeting record; the motion and vote were recorded only as a unanimous voice approval.
