Resident says bench in Merchants Walkway violates pedestrian easement; DPW says bench stored for winter

The resident said the easement covers themselves and two named property owners and reminded the board that "the easement agreement ... is only for pedestrians. It's not for people to sit."
Becky from DPW responded that DPW had roped off the area and had stored the bench for winter. She said the bench is heavy and would be moved to a better location this spring.
What happens next Board members suggested taking the matter to the enhancement committee to identify options for relocation and to ensure easement restrictions are respected; the resident signaled willingness to pursue legal remedies if the bench is not moved.
