Minuteman committee unanimously approves business manager's contract; members praise her team

The Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School Committee approved the business manager's contract as presented by unanimous roll call, following several members' statements of support. Chair Jeff asked for a motion to approve the contract; members moved, seconded and then voiced their support during a roll call.

Alice Duca, who spoke before the vote, said, "It's always a pleasure to work with Nikki. She's a terrific business manager." Pam added that the towns have "a lot of confidence in Nikki," and Sharon said Nikki makes financial information "very digestible" for non‑specialists. Sarah said Nikki has "built a great process and strong relationships with all of our different towns," and Mark called a clear, budget‑savvy business manager "worth their weight in gold." Members also acknowledged assistant business manager Sonia as part of a "high functioning" finance team.

The committee recorded 'yes' votes from members present and approved the contract. After the vote, the chair thanked members for attending the special session and called for adjournment; the committee voted to adjourn.
