Town staff told the Select Board on Feb. 17 that the first round of the 2026 revaluation will include 315 property visits, with postcards mailed to those residents and work starting in the downtown area. Dwayne Morin said the town plans to work in batches of about 300 properties; he also reported the town has “2,000+” accounts overall.
On roads procurement, Dwayne Morin presented a quote from Libby Scott showing prices at $90–$93 per ton. The board noted the town budgets $100 per ton and that upcoming road projects will total approximately $500,000. Selectperson Jonathan Hall moved to accept the Libby Scott quote; Selectperson Charles Galemmo seconded and the motion passed 5-0.
The board heard a brief Budget Committee update saying the draft budget passed the committee with limited discussion limited mainly to staff salaries. The revaluation was the subject of much committee discussion and town staff said they would continue outreach and provide details to residents about the process and timing.
