Burlington Township board members met Aug. 8 at Burlington Village Hall and approved routine governance items, including the meeting agenda, July 11 meeting minutes and payment of bills totaling $17,729.05.
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Supervisor Jeffrey Eyre. Clerk Darlene Mack moved to approve the agenda; Susan Mack seconded and the motion carried. Susan Mack moved to approve the July 11, 2024 minutes; Supervisor Eyre seconded and the minutes were approved as written.
Barton Boyer moved and Jeanette Demski seconded a motion to pay bills totaling $17,729.05; the motion carried. The minutes record 15 people in attendance. The public comment period opened and closed at 6:31 p.m. with no comments.
Other business noted during the meeting: the Road Committee has not met and 2025 project requests are due to the Road Department in December; Zoning Administrator Paul Walker and Fire Chief Smith presented written reports (contents not detailed in the minutes); Building Committee renovations are progressing.
