Board seeks clarity after state agency walkthrough of unused district buildings; administration says initial contacts were shared with committee

The district sent an RFP this week for the high-school gym roof and continues routine facilities work.

President Robinson responded that administration had initiated conversations and that emails were sent in early January to notify the facilities committee and the full board. She said initial inspections by an outside agency are a normal step to determine whether the agency has interest in leasing a property and that any substantive proposal would be vetted through the facilities committee and, if appropriate, the full board.
