Rothbury council unanimously approves annexation of Goerbig estate and Electric Forest property

Autum Drake moved to approve the resolution and Mike Harris supported the motion; the council recorded a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays and the motion carried. The Clerk was directed to finalize paperwork and submit it to the Oceana County Board of Commissioners for the county-level steps required to complete annexation.
The resolution, as read in the meeting, specifically names the Goerbig estate and Electric Forest as properties to be annexed; no public comment opposing the annexation was recorded during the meeting. The council took no further related motions during the session.
The clerk will proceed with the administrative filing with Oceana County as the next procedural step.
