An agency official said real-time intelligence and a connected command post will be central to public-safety plans while FIFA is in the city. "I think any time you’re in that space where you have real-time intelligence, that is a key, right?" the official said.

The official said the city will "partner that with the command post that many of our entities will have — we will have our significant command post with a lot of our collaborating partners in that space, as well."
