The Village of North Fond du Lac Plan Commission unanimously approved Resolution R-10-2025 on Sept. 9, 2025, recommending that the Village Board adopt the Comprehensive Plan Update 2040 by ordinance. The commission voted 7-0 to forward the plan after a brief public hearing that produced no testimony.
Chairperson Sherry Behnke opened the public hearing at 6:02 p.m., called three times for comment and closed the hearing at 6:03 p.m. The minutes record that the Village Board had previously held first readings on Ordinance-2025-09 (Comprehensive Plan Update 2040) and Ordinance-2025-10 (rezoning related to other parcels) on Aug. 18, 2025, with no discussion recorded at first reading.
Commissioner Jim Livieri moved to approve Resolution R-10-2025, which approves the proposed Comprehensive Plan Update 2040 and recommends Village Board adoption by ordinance; Don Schneider seconded the motion. The motion carried 7-0.
The commission took no additional substantive testimony during the hearing. The recommendation sends the plan to the Village Board, which must take further action to enact the update as an ordinance. The meeting adjourned at 6:13 p.m.
