President Rachel Eichhorst opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. and the board approved the agenda on a 7–0 vote after Antoine moved and Banach supported the motion.
Board member Bowman asked that Resolution #76 (PowerSchool Behavior Support Software) be removed from the agenda; the board approved that amendment 7–0. Eichhorst also proposed moving Board Discussion and Public Comment to before the scheduled closed‑session superintendent evaluation; the board approved that change 7–0.
During discussion, Board member Banach said the board should develop a stronger cadence for raising questions before meetings. "Questions can be raised and addressed in a timely manner after receiving the packet rather than right before or at the meeting," Banach said, arguing that repeated last‑minute agenda changes reduce transparency.
The amendments reshaped the order of business for the night but did not change meeting attendance: Eichhorst reported seven members present and zero absent.
The board proceeded with the revised agenda and later entered closed session for the superintendent evaluation at 6:34 p.m.; it returned to open session at 8:34 p.m.
