The clerk read the funding breakdown: a New Jersey Green Acres grant of $148,000, a Burton County Open Space Grant of $194,343 and $274,657 from the Borough Open Space Trust.
Council moved, seconded and approved introduction on first reading by roll call. Council members commented that the project will improve the field and will be "long time coming," according to meeting remarks.
