Mountain View community shuttle service suspended after operator’s CPUC license expired

Staff said the shuttle operator, DriveView, is taking steps to restore state certification but that there is no firm date for resuming service. The Mountain View Transportation Management Association, which manages the shuttle program, is offering Uber vouchers usable for trips within Mountain View during the shuttle’s operating hours as a temporary measure.
Staff said the transportation group will produce a postmortem and follow‑up to explain the licensing lapse and next steps for restoring service; the update was informational and no action was required at the meeting.
