Councilmember Trevor Guiles moved to approve the letter of understanding; Councilmember Nicole Woodside seconded. A roll-call vote followed: Meinert, Woodside, Guiles and Brad Nixon voted yes. Councilmembers Nate Bailey and Charles Lupo were absent.
The measure was presented as a letter of understanding related to the Teamsters Local 214 bargaining unit covering 2025–2028. The council’s approval amends the contract terms to include July 4 among paid holidays and directs the City Manager to execute the document on the city’s behalf.
There was no public comment at the meeting. City Clerk Amanda Grant recorded the proceedings and Mayor Meinert adjourned the meeting at 5:40 P.M.
