City Attorney David Solheim reviewed a proposed five-year contract (to a vendor named Uribe in the minutes), outlined amendments his office required, and said the revised contract language was returned to Uribe for review; the final agreement will appear on the December agenda.
Councilmembers Josh Buck, Jesse Schmidt and Cassie Wemhoff presented plans associated with a childcare foundation seeking to build a facility with a daycare, gymnasium, meeting space and a possible library/historical society area; they said they hope to lease land near the city's water tower for the project.
