The Village of Hebron Planning & Zoning Board voted unanimously Feb. 9 to initiate consideration of proposed text changes to the Planning and Zoning Code and to schedule a public hearing on April 13, 2026 at 6 p.m. at the Hebron Municipal Complex.
Village Zoning Attorney Jennifer Huber updated the board on the proposed amendments. Mayor Valerie Mockus moved to initiate the amendment package, including directing the Economic & Community Development Director to make the draft amendment available for public examination and to give notice in accordance with applicable law; Mr. Scott Jacobs seconded. The motion carried with all members present voting in favor; Vice Chair Randy Wolf was absent.
The board record states a cover page titled "Village of Hebron Planning and Zoning Code Amendment dated February 9, 2026" will be appended to the minutes, and staff will manage public-notice requirements and availability of the amendment text. The April 13 hearing will be the board's opportunity to take public testimony on the proposed text changes before any final action.
