The Village of Hebron on Jan. 5 swore in Jared B. Rose as its new village solicitor and elected Randy Wolf as council president during the council’s annual organizational meeting.
Mayor opened the meeting at 5:30 p.m. and administered the oath to Jared B. Rose, who repeated the oath to “support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Ohio” and pledged to “faithfully, honestly, and impartially discharge the duties” of village solicitor (oath recited on the record). The council welcomed Rose following the ceremony.
Council then moved to elect a council president. Council Member Franklin Joseph Juvenelli nominated Randy Wolf, and Council Member Jerry Carpenter seconded the nomination. The council conducted a roll-call vote; all members present voted yes and Wolf accepted the office and took the oath as council president.
The organizational meeting also included swearing-in of several council members elected in November. Pastor Jerry Carpenter, Kristen Hoskinson and Franklin Joseph Juvenelli each recited the oath of office and were seated by council. The mayor noted the council now has a full complement of members for 2026.
The meeting concluded with routine organizational business, including appointments and scheduling motions recorded by roll call. The council adjourned the organizational session to proceed to the next agenda item.
Next steps: council will carry out the appointments and scheduling motions approved at the Jan. 5 meeting as part of its 2026 organizational calendar.
