The Northfield Conservation Commission discussed an inquiry about a possible subdivision at 364 4‑Mile Brook Road and said it cannot take action until a Notice of Intent (NOI) is filed and formal plans are submitted to the Planning Board. Commissioner Robin Conley said she replied to the inquiry by noting ConsCom’s hands are tied until formal filings are received.
Commissioner Bill Llewelyn said there is an unapproved driveway along 4‑Mile Brook at that address and that any driveway work would need to come into compliance with applicable regulations. The commission did not receive or review a Notice of Intent during the March 18 meeting and recorded no determination or permit action.
Commissioners advised the inquirer to submit the NOI and planning materials to the Planning Board so that the commission can review wetland impacts and issuance of any Order of Conditions that may be required.
