Glen Arbor Township held a public budget hearing March 17, 2026, during which Supervisor Tom Laureto presented the proposed fiscal year 2026–2027 budget and the property tax millage proposed to fund it. The budget, Laureto said, had been posted on the township website in early March and displayed on the meeting-room monitor for public viewing.
The five-member board — Supervisor Tom Laureto, Clerk Pam Laureto, Treasurer Don Lewis, and Trustees Bob Hawley and John DePuy — reviewed the proposed budget by cost center and discussed various line items. Treasurer Don Lewis asked about the State Shared Revenue amount. Clerk Pam Laureto said the township prefers to underestimate that revenue line so the budget can be amended upward later if receipts exceed expectations.
Board members moved through routine procedural business at the start of the meeting: Don Lewis moved to approve the agenda, Bob Hawley supported the motion, and it carried unanimously. The board opened two opportunities for public comment during the hearing; no members of the public spoke. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. and adjourned at 7:17 p.m.
