The Crestwood School District held a work session in which committee chairs approved minutes and advanced several agenda items to the March 20, 2025 voting meeting.
Committee actions were procedural and unanimous by voice vote as recorded in the session. The Human Resources committee approved its Feb. 20, 2025 minutes and listed six items to move to the March 20 voting session (items one through six). Transportation, Financial Planning and Policy committees likewise approved minutes and moved specified items to next week’s vote. The Co‑curricular committee approved its minutes and voted to advance the coaches listed under item one to the March 20 voting session.
During Human Resources discussion board members raised concerns about custodial staffing turnover; an administrator acknowledged recent departures and said the district has experienced a revolving door in custodial positions. No specific personnel names or staffing counts were provided during the meeting; the minutes and the moved HR items will appear on the March 20 agenda for further action.
The board used the work session to thank staff: the Co‑curricular committee noted March as National Athletic Trainer Month and publicly thanked two trainers, Cody and Anthony, for their work. Members also highlighted the girls basketball team’s upcoming Elite Eight game at Eastn Middle School on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
The board closed by reminding the public the regular meeting is Thursday the 20th at 6:30 p.m. in the media center and adjourned.
