Oconee County opioid-recovery funding application pulled from agenda for further due diligence

Staff reported the county's available amount as $2,232,473.57 and recommended submitting additional abatement strategies for Council consideration.
County Attorney David Root asked that the item be removed from the agenda for additional due diligence. Councilman Julian Davis moved to remove the item and Councilman John Elliott seconded; the motion passed 4–0.
Because the request was removed, no formal submissions to the SCORF Board were authorized at this meeting.
