Fairview Area School District board approves coaching slate and support hires

The board approved the following coaching assignments by recorded motions that passed 6–0: Luke Nolan as assistant coach for middle school boys basketball; Brian Marble as JV/Varsity boys basketball assistant coach; Stephanie Morang as head coach for middle school girls basketball and as JV/Varsity girls basketball assistant; and Brent Salsbury as assistant middle/high school cross country coach and assistant middle/high school track coach. Movers and seconders were recorded for each motion as listed in the meeting record.
In separate personnel votes, the board approved three new hires, each motion passing 6–0: Haley Ott as a paraprofessional; Margaret Ellis as a part-time custodian; and Kendra West as a part-time custodian. The motions were presented as part of the meeting's consent or action agenda and carried without dissent.
Superintendent Troy Ross handled routine administrative questions earlier in the meeting about job-posting locations; the meeting record does not include extended discussion or quotes about the hires or coaching assignments. The board also clarified a vendor payout for a software curriculum during consent approval.
