Engadine Board approves teacher hire, coach, snow-plow contract and band trip

The board also approved hiring Jeremy Loebach as the boys' varsity basketball coach for the 2025–2026 school year (motion by Hopper, supported by Moore; motion carried).
On procurement, the board approved a snow-plowing contract with Ocko and Sons at $70 per hour for the 2025–2026 season (motion by Nelson, supported by Chapman; motion carried). The board also approved an overnight band trip to attend Northern Michigan University (NMU) Band Day in Marquette Oct. 24–25 (motion by Moore, supported by Chapman; motion carried).
The board's sports update noted the boys' cross-country team won the conference championship and that elementary boys' basketball season has begun. The minutes also recorded that the Dig Pink fundraiser raised more than $15,000 and recognized Mr. Carlson at a recent event.
