Student praises aides; public commenters raise bullying, grants and signage at Engadine meeting

Mr. and Mrs. Franckowiak gave a sports update, noting track is in full swing and recent LSSU meets.
During public input, commenters expressed appreciation for the musical staff, suggested a recurring Childhood Cancer Event in June, urged the board to consider purchasing a new sign, mentioned available grants and asked about Tribal 2% funding, and a parent said, “Bullying is happening on the playground and my son is not going to return.” The minutes do not record a response or follow-up direction from the board or staff regarding the bullying complaint.
The meeting moved from reports and public input into formal action items without additional discussion recorded in the minutes.
