Three Oaks council adopts 2025–2026 budget, approves prior-year amendments

President Graziano called the Three Oaks Village Council to order at 6:00 p.m. on Sept. 24, 2025, and the council recorded votes to approve amendments to the 2024–2025 budget and to adopt the 2025–2026 budget.
Council member Hinman moved to approve the meeting agenda; Council member Thomas supported the motion and it was carried. The body then closed the special meeting and opened a public hearing to receive comments on both the 2025–2026 budget and the 2024–2025 budget amendments. After the hearing period, the council closed the public hearing and reopened the special meeting; the minutes state that there were no public comments and no correspondence filed for the record.
President Graziano moved, with support from Council member Thomas, to approve the 2024–2025 budget amendments as presented. The motion carried with recorded votes of Ayes: Kramer, Thomas, Hinman and Springer; Nayes: none; Absent: Niemzyk and Jones; Abstained: none.
Council member Hinman then moved, with support from Council member Thomas, to approve the 2025–2026 budget as presented. That motion also carried with Ayes: Kramer, Thomas, Hinman and Springer; Nayes: none; Absent: Niemzyk and Jones; Abstained: none.
President Graziano moved to adjourn at 6:29 p.m.; the motion carried. The minutes were submitted by Village Clerk Kim Johnson on Sept. 26, 2025. The council’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Oct. 8, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
