Easton Agricultural Commission approves farm map, advances farmer survey and backs reappointment request

The Easton Agricultural Commission met on March 11, 2026, at the Easton Library and approved its February minutes before turning to outreach and membership items.
A motion to approve the February minutes was made by Recording Secretary Amy Wolfcale and seconded by Chair Jake Conover; the motion passed unanimously. The commission discussed draft questions for a survey of Easton farmers aimed at gathering input on the town’s Christmas Tree program and other resources local producers would find useful, and agreed to continue refining the survey.
Members approved a new Easton farm map for the town website and supported adding farm-related resources to the Agricultural Commission’s web page, including a link-tree style list of resources intended to help residents and farmers find services and information.
In new business, Chair Jake Conover referenced the resignation of member Tom Ganim. Commissioners supported asking the Board of Selectmen to reappoint Jonathan Webster to the commission.
A motion to adjourn was made by Amy Wolfcale, seconded by Jake Conover, and passed unanimously; the meeting ended at 8:26 PM. The minutes were submitted by Amy Wolfcale, Recording Secretary.
