The commission voted 5-0 to approve Caesars’ house-rule updates after the division reported no compliance concerns and noted the rules have been approved in other jurisdictions.
In a separate briefing, staff presented sports-wagering activity from the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan: more than 123,000 customers placed over 800,000 wagers, producing over $23 million in total handle, roughly $1.1 million in gross gaming revenue and about $265,000 in taxes collected. Ice hockey accounted for about 91% of Olympic wagers (over 730,000); curling was second with roughly 43,000 wagers (~5%).
