Student representatives highlight clubs, athletics and leadership programs at Toms River board meeting

"I'm extremely honored and excited to be the student body president of High School East for this school year," Ryan said.
Gabriella Cova, introduced as the student representative from Toms River High School North, described a new Mariner coin positive‑behavior initiative that students can redeem for rewards and praised freshman orientation and early-season athletics achievements.
Sophia Cida, serving as student representative from Toms River High School South, summarized club activity, senior traditions such as parking‑spot painting and fall spirit events; she thanked board members and administrators for the opportunity to represent South.
The board dismissed the student guests to begin business; members said student reports and youth participation are a welcome part of the agenda going forward.
