At its March 2, 2026 meeting the Perry Planning Commission unanimously approved the February meeting minutes, the meeting agenda and a proposed 2026 training plan.
The minutes record that Commissioner Larry moved to approve the February minutes "with the exception that it is written Allen Edwin withdrew from building," and Commissioner Mindy seconded. The motion "passed unanimously," according to the minutes. The record lists six commission members as present: Mindy, Bob, Gerrad, Genevieve, Larry and Forest.
The commission also approved the meeting agenda after a motion from Commissioner Larry and a second from Commissioner Mindy; that motion likewise is recorded as passing unanimously.
On old business the commission discussed a four-course training series through MSU Extension priced at $60. Commissioner Genevieve was recorded as signing up as one participant so that other members could take the course sequence. Commissioner Larry moved to approve the training plan; Commissioner Forest seconded and the motion is recorded as passing unanimously.
The minutes do not record any dissenting votes, roll-call tallies beyond the list of attendees, or further details about who will be invoiced for the $60 fee. The meeting adjourned at 7:47 p.m.
