At its Dec. 8 meeting the Village of Sanford board approved bills totaling $131,082.34 and heard Department of Public Works updates on park plantings and equipment.
Treasurer Travis Raymond distributed monthly statements. Clerk Janell Kopke presented the Nov. 10 minutes and the bills. Council member Marcus Thrush moved to approve the bills; Council member Carl Hamann seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
DPW Superintendent Matt Hall reported that the Village will plant 20 maple trees in Village Park in the spring with numerous donors sponsoring individual trees. Separately, Council member Carl Hamann moved to approve a $1,300 purchase from Gene's in Coleman for a landscape rake tractor; the motion passed 3–2. Yeas were Carl Hamann, Don Whaley and Village President Dolores Porte; Neas were Leah Ziems and Marcus Thrush.
No public comment or new business items were recorded; the board adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
