Sanford Planning Commission approves October minutes, sets 2026 schedule and forwards zoning notes to council

Commissioner Carl Hamann moved to approve the Oct. 7 minutes; Commissioner Denise Drake seconded, and the minutes were entered as approved in the record. The commission agreed on its meeting dates for 2026, listing the scheduled sessions as Jan. 6, Feb. 3, Mar. 3, Apr. 7, May 5, June 2, July 7, Aug. 4, Sept. 1, Oct. 6, Nov. 10 and Dec. 1. The schedule will be used for publication and future agenda planning.
Commissioners reviewed and compiled notes from the 1998 Zoning Ordinance for referral to the Village Council.
