At the meeting, one resident implored the authority: "Please do something. The land has been sitting there for over 40 years," a comment staff cited in summarizing public sentiment. Operations staff and board members said the full Market Street Research report will be pre-circulated to members before a July presentation and will include methodology and a detailed data analysis; the consultant will present the final report at the authority's July meeting.
Board members asked for time to review the pre-circulated report and submit technical or statistical questions in advance so the consultant can address them during the public presentation.
