Clarkston council reappoints two residents to district library board

The City of the Village of Clarkston City Council unanimously reappointed two city residents to the Clarkston Independence District Library Board of Trustees during its Nov. 24, 2025 regular meeting.
Councilmember Casey moved to reappoint Nancy Moon and Maggie Sans as the city’s representatives on the library board for the term running Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2028; Councilmember Quisenberry supported the motion. The vote was recorded as all aye, 6-0.
The reappointments were taken as a single motion under new business; the minutes do not record debate or statements from the appointees. Councilmembers present for the vote were Mayor Wylie, Mayor Pro Tem Rodgers, Avery, Casey, Forte and Quisenberry. A formal start and end date for the appointments were included in the motion as stated above.
The council adjourned at 7:35 p.m. with the appointments reflected in the meeting minutes filed by City Clerk Angie Guillen.
