Fraser Board approves several personnel actions, including a retirement and tenure contract

At its April 7 meeting, the Fraser Board of Education approved multiple personnel items including new hires, a retirement and a tenure contract.
A motion to hire Melissa Buyikian (LRE aide, Eisenhower Elementary), Shai Golabek (food service, Emerson Elementary), Dale Pippin (food service, Fraser High School) and Leilani Santarromana (food service, Fraser High School) was moved and seconded and carried with all members voting aye. The hires were recorded with effective dates ranging from Feb. 14 to March 14, 2025.
The board also accepted the retirement of Richard Reid, a skilled maintenance employee in Operations & Maintenance, effective March 31, 2025. Board records note Reid had served the district since Jan. 2, 1987. Separately, the board authorized Superintendent Carrie Wozniak or designee to execute a tenure contract for Charlotte Deimel; that motion likewise carried unanimously.
These personnel approvals were recorded as motions with unanimous votes and will be reflected in the district’s personnel files and future public minutes.
