Fraser Board awards $1.27 million roofing contract and approves $4.4 million in expenditures

The roofing award, approved by motion of Todd Koch and supported by Daniel Stawinski, covers Bid Packs #4 and #5 and is intended to support this summer’s HVAC and roofing work. Operations & Maintenance Director Jim Birko had reported bond “pull‑ahead” work over winter break to prepare Disney, Emerson and Richard Middle School for upcoming HVAC and roofing projects.
On the same motion set, Treasurer Robyn Norbeck moved to authorize payment of the district’s bills and draws: General Fund $3,626,947.98; Food Service Fund $244,657.63; School Activities Fund $7,141.19; Capital Projects Fund $525,562.54; total $4,404,309.34. The motions carried with all members voting in favor.
The board also announced upcoming committee meetings for policy (Jan. 31) and Building & Site (Jan. 27), where project details and timelines for bond work are expected to be discussed further. The roofing award will proceed according to the vendor contract and the district’s procurement process.
