On June 29 the Delanco Township Committee adopted Ordinance 2026‑09 on second reading, approving a revision to the township’s compensation schedule for officers and employees. The public hearing on the ordinance drew no comments and the roll‑call vote was unanimous.
The committee also approved Resolution 2026‑97 authorizing the promotion of Adam Lipick to the rank of sergeant in the Delanco Police Department. Lipick was sworn in at the meeting and committee members congratulated him and posed for photographs.
The remainder of the consent agenda was approved in a single motion. Consent items included Resolution 2026‑98 (rejection of the 2025 Community Block Development Grant bid), two permit/refund resolutions (2026‑99 and 2026‑100), business license approvals (listed in the packet) and payment of bills in the amount listed on the bill run presented to the committee.
Roll‑call votes were recorded in the minutes for the ordinance and consent motions; committee members voting in the affirmative included Mr. Bartlett, Mr. McFaden, Mr. Olette, Miss Seuss and Miss Fitzpatrick.
No further formal actions were taken on June 29 beyond approvals on the consent agenda and the promotion.
