Fruitport Community Schools audit yields clean opinion, no findings

Rummel also reported the district continues to qualify as a low-risk auditee, and the audit included the single-audit compliance report and separate reports on each building and site bond.
The Business and Finance Committee received the audit at its Oct. 13 meeting, where committee members discussed the audit results and other fiscal items, including upcoming contract letters related to health insurance and an RFP for replacement buses. The board accepted the audit materials as part of the committee report during the Oct. 20 meeting.
