Storm-drain mapping project near completion; committee considers semiannual reporting

He tied the effort to upcoming El Niño storms and urged residents to check local storm-drain information before heavy rains. "El Nino's coming. Be prepared," he said, and described the map as an asset to locate forgotten or damaged drains.
Dominguez also proposed that each EPC member provide a short six-month report on activities and projects so the committee and public can see outcomes and better coordinate work. Committee members supported a format of periodic, staggered updates to reduce meeting time while improving accountability.
The committee asked Dominguez to convert key items into an outline for inclusion in the next meeting packet so members and staff can review ahead of the next meeting.
