The Mendon Township Board handled routine municipal business at its Nov. 19 meeting, approving the agenda, past minutes, the treasurer's report and payment of October bills.
A motion to adopt the agenda was made by Jim Hart and supported by Leasa G. Mathews; the motion carried. Leasa G. Mathews moved to approve the Oct. 1, 2024 minutes, supported by Jim Hart; motion carried. The treasurer's report was approved on a motion by Jim Hart, supported by Donna Cupp. The October bills were approved on a motion by Jan Griffith, supported by Leasa G. Mathews. The minutes record each action as "motion carried" but do not provide roll-call tallies.
During good of the order, board members thanked Clerk Donna Cupp and her election staff for running a smooth Nov. 5, 2024 General Election. A motion to adjourn by Jim Hart, supported by Jan Griffith, carried and the meeting adjourned at 7:13 p.m.
