Fraser Board swears in Todd Burrows and votes to back Scott Wallace for MASB seat

Todd Burrows was sworn in as a trustee of the Fraser Board of Education at the board's regular meeting Monday at Richards Middle School. Scott Wallace, board president, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
The board approved the minutes of the Feb. 10 and Feb. 11, 2025 meetings. Rebecca Jensen moved to approve the Feb. 10 minutes, supported by Abigail Wasil; the motion carried with all members voting aye. Todd Koch moved to approve the Feb. 11 special-meeting minutes, supported by Kathleen Moco; that motion also carried unanimously.
On a separate item, board members reviewed candidates from Region 8 for the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) Board of Directors. After listing nominees, the board moved to cast its vote for Scott Wallace as the MASB representative (motion by Todd Koch, supported by Robyn Norbeck); the motion carried with all members voting in favor.
The board adjourned at 7:38 p.m. The minutes record that these minutes were approved by the Fraser Board of Education at its March 10, 2025 meeting.
