The minutes note that Erin Murphy and Melissa Eyestone, both employees of the Fruitport Early Childhood Center, attended the committee meeting and spoke during the committee's public comment period in support of Amy Wiggins as a candidate for the director position. Committee members discussed the search process but did not record a hiring decision at the Nov. 17 board meeting.
The Personnel Committee will continue its work and is expected to return recommendations to the full board when appropriate.
